First day jitters
Well what can I say. I received and email earlier today from iTunes stating that my application review was over and that it is now ready for sale. Time to get excited. The possibilities here are big in my mind.
The questions go through your head will it work I hope it wont cause any issues on other devices. Will anyone actually download my creation.
So I'm thinking there must be at least 10 Million devices capable of downloading and running this application, this includes iPhone V1.0, iPhone 3G and the iPod Touch. So for sure there must be a few downloads.
Did people get it and try it.... Well yes, I had some comments that there was a typo and that there really should be a startup screen...(i'll get onto that). But in reality how many folks could see it and tink I'll have a look a this.
So to my surprise when I checked my stats there had been close to downloads from all over the planet. Not bad for the 6 - 7 hours it was out there.
Am i justified in thinking that this could be a viable platform. OH YEAH!
I'm already working on an improved version of my first application and, I also have plans for a few others. these will be out in the not too distant future, so I hope the downloads continue. Along with my experience and skills to make better applications.
So was this a success, in my mind a big big yes. Bring on tomorrow.
